Arthritis

Around 4 out of every 10 dogs have signs of arthritic pain. Arthritis is a condition that leads to pain and progressive degeneration of the joint.

 

It affects many aspects of a dogs’ life including limited mobility, painful joints and a poor quality of life.

About Megan Sulivan, Veterinary Physiotherapist

Megan joined Westmorland Vets in August 2018 as part of the reception team, and has since completed her Masters in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Harper Adams University in Shropshire.

In February 2021, Megan qualified as a Veterinary Physiotherapist before launching Megan Sullivan Veterinary Physiotherapy in March 2021, where she treats horses and dogs in the Cumbria and Lancashire region.

Veterinary Physiotherapy has been proven to improve mobility and health, reduce pain, reduce the risk of further injury or illness and overall improve an animals quality of life.
