Ben qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2003. After spending time working in New Zealand in cattle practice he returned to his home town of Kirkby Lonsdale to work in the farm animal department of Westmorland Veterinary Group. He is particularly interested in 'Increasing productivity in the dairy herd' and has developed regular fertility reporting and milk cell count monitoring within the practice. He has also earned a reputation for being an excellent large animal surgeon. Ben became a director of the practice in 2008.
Ben has 2 small children, he also has a ginger cat called Roger and has recently dabbled in pig keeping!
